Gentle Exfoliation
Our Skin is the largest organ of our body and it cleverly sheds and replenishes its outer layer …the Epidermis
The efficiency of this natural process determines the health and therefore the appearance of the skin.
Lifestyle, environment, age, all interrupt this process leading to dull, congested, and prematurely aged skin.
Full respiration of the skin cells is essential for a bright and radiant complexion.
Exfoliators and Exfoliating Salon Facials assist your skin by resurfacing the epidermis, encouraging production of new skin cells and maximising the absorption of serums & treatment creams that nourish, hydrate and restore the acid mantle of the skin.
In resurfacing the skin, fine lines, pigmentation and small scars can be reduced.
Once /twice every week is sufficient. It can be detrimental to overdo it.
Also be aware of other applications that achieve this speedily (eg.Glycolic Peels ) or gradually….ie. daily eg. Retin A)
There are 2 main types of Exfoliants for use at home :-
~ A.H.A (alpha hydroxy acid )
~ Granular preparations (spherical biodegradable beads)
Some products can be a mixture of the 2
